Toridamono’s Original Character MX-chan Joins the PLAMATEA Model Kit Series

Max Factory has unveiled a PLAMATEA model kit of illustrator Toridamono’s original character MX-chan, featuring movable eyes, pre-painted parts and a transforming railgun accessory.

Max Factory will release the PLAMATEA MX-chan plastic model kit in January 2027.

Based on an original character created by illustrator Toridamono, MX-chan is being adapted into the PLAMATEA plastic model kit series.

The kit includes three interchangeable face parts, all equipped with movable eyeballs that allow the direction of MX-chan’s gaze to be freely adjusted.

Several key components come pre-painted, allowing the model to closely reproduce the character’s original color scheme through assembly alone.

MX-chan also comes with a case that can transform into a railgun, giving the model an additional display and weapon configuration.
PVC parts are used for the wrists, while an included display base with an articulated support arm allows for a variety of dynamic poses.

Pre-orders will remain open until September 16.
