Taito has officially revealed the painted prototype of Snow Miku 2013 Ver., the second release in its large-scale collaboration between Snow Miku and the AMP+ prize figure series. The figure is based on an original illustration created by artist Pop Kyun and was first shown on July 31 through the official Taito Toys account on X.
The 2013 Snow Miku design follows a sweets-inspired theme. Miku is dressed in a traditional white bridal kimono modeled after the appearance of strawberry daifuku, combining the confection’s white outer layer with soft pink and red accents.
The newly released images provide the first look at the figure’s fully painted prototype, offering an early preview of its colors, sculpting and interpretation of Pop Kyun’s original artwork.
Further information regarding the figure’s release date and availability has not yet been announced.
